People often worry about what happens to their online accounts. They worry about family photos or important messages being lost. X Legacy tries to solve this problem. It gives users control over their digital afterlife.

Setting up X Legacy is simple. Users go into their account settings. They find the X Legacy section. They choose a trusted person. This person is called a “Legacy Contact.” The user picks what that person can see and do. They can give full access. They can give limited access. It depends on the user’s choice.

Security is important. The chosen person needs a special PIN. This PIN is set by the original user. This keeps the account safe from unwanted access.
