Report: Emanuel more receptive to Cubs’ funding plan for Wrigley

Crain’s Chicago Business reports: The Cubs are getting a more favorable response from City Hall in their latest behind-the-scenes bid to get public funding to help renovate Wrigley Field.

“Rahm’s people have been much more interested than Daley’s were,” an inside source said in comparing Mayor Rahm Emanuel to his predecessor, Richard M. Daley, who blocked an earlier plan.
