Although the scientific community has achieved progress in understanding the negative effects of engineered nanomaterials on the human body however, the scientific community isn't completely aware of everything. There are still gaps in our knowledge concerning, for example, the routes of exposure and how nanomaterials are introduced into and circulated within the body. Additional research is needed to fill these gaps.
