Last May my family and I took a trip to San Diego and fell in love with the public park that is located outside of center field of Petco Park. I asked myself why the Cubs
could't do something like this? There are only 81 home dates on the Cubs calendar. That leaves 284 days when there is not a game at Wrigley or 78% of the time. The
Cubs should consider using the land west of Wrigley for something Cubs fans, Wrigleyville residents, and visitors to Chicago can enjoy year round. As a Cub fan and
Lakeview resident, I would much prefer a grassy and tree dotted park versus the Cubs proposed Triangle building. I have lived in the city of Chicago for 12 years and I love
the fact that you can walk a few blocks and find another park. I think another park should be added to the west of Wrigley.
