Chicago city officials have approved the Cubs’ revised plan for the Toyota sign at Wrigley Field, according to the Chicago Tribune. The plan now places the sign directly behind the left field seats, leaving room for a walkway. In the first plan, the sign was attached to the ballpark’s outer wall. Because it is now considered an interior feature, the plan was approved, according to the Tribune. The 2005 agreement with the landmark commission regarding Wrigley does not regulate interior signs.
