Joe Maddon not thrilled with Wrigley conditions since AC/DC concert

Manager Joe Maddon cleared second baseman Starlin Castro of any blame Monday night for the fielding error that was charged to him in the third inning of the Chicago Cubs’ 9-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers.

In fact, Maddon pointed the finger at another performer.

“Since the AC/DC concert, we’ve had a little bit of trouble,” Maddon said in referring to the performance on Sept. 15. “I don’t know if they were out there taking ground balls before the game, or if they had 9-inch heels or spikes.
