Wrigley Field doesn’t have luxury skyboxes, or a fancy electronic scoreboard (thank God), or enough washrooms, or enough parking, but there is one reason that it should be kept and preserved as is…… It is a historical reminder of baseball before mutimillion dollar contracts for .230 hitters who are pumped up on steroids, to the taxpayers in cities who had been taken “hostage” by teams threatening to leave if the city or state did not build them a new stadium, and of team owners who charge ridiculous ticket prices to pay their multimillion dollar crybabies to hit .230 and whine because the public treats them unfairly
